Caravan swept away in floodwaters in Maastricht, Netherlands

A caravan and its awning was filmed floating away on a swollen river on Thursday (15 July) after flooding hit the southern Netherlands. The scene was filmed in Maastrich, southern Limburg. Other countries, from India to Russia to the US, are also dealing with extreme weather events that scientists say are made more likely by climate change.
