Car Almost Swept Into Creek While Crossing Flooded Road in Dallas
Eyewitness video captured the moment a car was almost swept into a waterway while crossing floodwaters in Dallas, Texas, on May 16.
This footage, shot by local man Peter Dunn, shows the driver of a Toyota Prius struggling to move through the flooded road. The vehicle is turned 90 degrees, however the car gains traction, to Dunn’s surprise, and continues on.
Dallas was battered by heavy rain on May 16 prompting flash flood warnings for the area. The National Weather Service (NWS) said it had received multiple reports of roads “becoming impassable”. Credit: Peter Dunn via Storyful
