The film stars newcomer Agathe Rousselle, Cannes best actor winner Vincent Lindon (“The Measure of a Man”), Laïs Salameh (“Le rêve de Mila”) and reunites Ducournau with her “Raw” star Garance Marillier.

Horror hit “Raw” was selected at the Cannes Directors’ Fortnight in 2016 and won the FIPRESCI prize there before going on to global acclaim and awards including the Sutherland award for best first feature at the BFI London Film Festival and a clutch of prizes at Sitges – Catalonian International Film Festival.

Film4 and Altitude have co-acquired the film and will collaborate on the theatrical release later this year. Film4 will retain broadcast and on-demand rights in the U.K. and Ireland.

“Titane” is produced by Jean-Christophe Reymond for Kazak Productions, edited by Jean-Christophe Bouzy (“Raw”), cinematography by Reuben Impens (“Beautiful Boy”) and features an original score from composer Jim Williams (“Beast”).

Wild Bunch International are handling international sales.

Film4 is U.K. broadcaster Channel 4 Television’s feature film division. Recent releases include Sarah Gavron’s “Rocks,” Rose Glass’s “Saint Maud” and Armando Iannucci’s “The Personal History of David Copperfield.”

Altitude’s recent releases include “Tina” from directors Daniel Lindsay and T.J. Martin, Victor Kossakovsky’s acclaimed “Gunda,” Ladj Ly’s Oscar nominated “Les Miserables” and Nick Rowland’s lauded “Calm With Horses.”

In September 2020 Altitude partnered with the WWF on the global event release of “David Attenborough: A Life on Our Planet,” which became the widest ever released documentary in the U.K. and Ireland.
