Canada's Drag Race judge Jeffrey Bowyer-Chapman stars in the freaky trailer for new horror movie Spiral.
From AMC's horror streaming service Shudder, Spiral follows a same-sex couple who move to small town for a better quality of life, but things soon take a sinister turn as the residents in their neighbourhood reveal their true intentions.
The film is directed by Kurtis David Harder (Summerland, Incontrol) and written by Colin Minihan (writer of the Shudder original Z and the upcoming movie Urban Legend) and John Poliquin (Selfie).
The official synopsis for the film reads: "Malik (Jeffrey Bowyer-Chapman, American Horror Story, Canada’s Drag Race) and Aaron (Ari Cohen, IT: Chapter 2) move to a small town in search of a better environment for them and their 16-year-old daughter (Jennifer Laporte, Web of Dreams).
"But nothing is as it seems, as something sinister lies behind the picturesque homes and welcoming faces of their new neighbours (Lochlyn Munro, The CW’s Riverdale)."
Ty Wood (Chilling Adventures of Sabrina) and Chandra West (I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry) also star.
Spiral will be available on Shudder in the US, UK, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand from September 17.
