Californian man reunited with missing support dog

The Champion Doberman Pinscher had been missing for three days when officers in the city of Watsonville discovered a woman had brought the dog home, Watsonville Police said on Facebook, adding that Arrow had been valued at over $3,000.

The man named Gary, who also has an albino Doberman named Gigi, appeared overwhelmed, thanking the officer and shaking his hand.

"Officer Angel Hernandez is new to the Watsonville Police Department and he made it his mission to find Arrow," a police spokesperson said in an email.

"These are the moments we live for," the force said via its facebook page.
