California Police Stage Water Fight With Kids as Pools Stay Closed Amid Hot Weather

Police officers dispatched to an apartment block in Fairfield, California, on June 22, decided to set up a water fight with kids playing outside with no swimming pools to go to due to COVID-19 restrictions.

“Officers were dispatched to an apartment building. While on scene they noticed several kids outside playing,” Fairfield Police said on Twitter.

“Due to COVID-19, community pools are closed. Seeing this was no way to spend a hot summer, Officers quickly came up with a plan using their own money,” they added.
