The Unrivaled 3x3 league roster is almost complete — and the highly sought after WNBA Rookie of the Year Caitlin Clark could reportedly receive a million-dollar payday if she decides to join the team.

With just six spots left to fill, insider reports are swirling that Clark has been offered a $1 million salary, plus an equity stake in the league, to sign on, according to Sports Business Journal.

Unrivaled recently upped its roster of 30 players to 36, and they're hoping Clark would join. The Sports Business Journal reported that the league is allowing Clark to “take as long as she wants" to make her decision before the season starts in January.

It would be a major increase in Clark's WNBA salary, which was expected to be $76,535 in her first season based on the league's typical contracts for new players.

Per Sports Business Journal, a source elaborated on Clark potentially signing on, saying “She has not decided yet…there will be a spot for her if she wants it, but she will be paid for what she brings to the league, as much as a new league can afford… I think a few weeks we will know.”

During the summer, fellow WNBA rookie Angel Reese also signed to the Unrivaled league, which was created by WNBA stars Napheesa Collier and Breanna Stewart.

In an official announcement posted to Instagram on Wednesday, July 24, the Unrivaled basketball league revealed that Reese, 22, has joined the league. “The Barbie is Unrivaled,” read the caption for Unrivaled and Reese's joint post. "10/30."

Per Yahoo! Sports, the inaugural six-team season will start in January 2025.

“The principle of our league is that it's the top talent, and women need to be paid accordingly,” Collier told Yahoo! Sports at the time, explaining why the league is offering six-figure salaries. She added, “We need to be treated as professionals, and so that was a huge thing, is making sure that this is transformative, and something that’s new is we’re going to be paying players what they should be paid.”
