Businesses Damaged After Deadly Tornado Rips Through Nashville

Thunderstorms and tornadoes ripped through parts of Tennessee early on Tuesday, March 3, killing at least eight people, according to the Tennessee Emergency Management Agency.

A storm moving through Middle Tennessee generated a tornado that damaged several buildings in Nashville and cut power to more than 44,000 people according to Nashville Electric Service.

The National Weather Service confirmed an “extremely dangerous” tornado moving northwest of downtown Nashville around 1.30 am and said it then passed through several counties.

This video shows damage to the Clean Juice store in Nashville’s Five Points neighborhood.
