Fans of Bull Durham can now buy the iconic house from the film!
The property dubbed “The Manning House” located in Durham, North Carolina — which was famously featured in the popular baseball movie as the home where Susan Sarandon’s character Annie lives — is on sale for $1.6 million dollars.
However, the home is not only noted for its pop-culture status, but its historical significance as well, as it’s one of the oldest homes in Durham that's still standing.
The Manning House was built in 1880 in the Queen Anne style by a prominent Durham lawyer and judge, according to a listing of the home on Nest Realty. Queen Anne style describes a type of architecture between 1880 and 1910 modeled after English architects who took inspiration from Medieval and Jacobean style-buildings, according to the National Park Service.

"It's a totally unique home where historical significance meets a pop culture icon,” said N.C. real estate agent and historic homes expert Adam Dickinson. “It’s also exceptionally liveable, with a large three-quarter acre lot in a walkable neighborhood with tons of award winning restaurants, breweries, coffee shops, and a farmers market.”
“It's less than a half mile to the historic Durham Bulls Stadium shown in the movie, and only about a mile to where the most successful team in minor league baseball plays today,” he continued. “Whoever buys this home will love the house, yard, and workshop but also all that Durham has to offer as on of US News ‘Best Places to Live in the US.’”
The 3,733 square ft. home described as having “modern luxury and convenience” has four bedrooms and three and a half baths across .72 acres of land.

The expansive first floor has several connecting rooms, including a large living room with a fireplace, an office space, a playroom, a dining room area and a kitchen. Amenities on this floor include an entrance foyer, breakfast bar and kitchen island. The space features large windows that allow homeowners to peak at the green landscape outdoors.

The second floor contains a main bedroom, secondary bedroom and dressing room, along with accompanying bathrooms that have a walk-in shower and bathtub/shower combination.
The property also has a landscaped lawn with an outdoor area where chairs and tables could be placed and some trees for shade. There is also a separate shed toward the back of the property that could be used for woodworking or another hobby space.
“One can picture Annie [in Bull Durham] relaxing on the screened porch at sunset, making a sly quip about living here being '’the easiest job I ever had,’ ” a description for the home noted, and the next owner could soon be doing the same thing too.
