Buildings were set on fire and property vandalised as riots broke out in Kenosha, Wisconsin, on August 24 following the police shooting of Jacob Blake.
Local reporters said multiple buildings were on fire in the evening after police had faced off with protesters outside the Kenosha County Courthouse. Police enforced an 8 pm curfew on the downtown area.
Protests erupted in Kenosha on August 23 after a video circulated on social media showing Blake being shot by a police officer multiple times from behind.
