A row of buildings in Khan Yunis, Gaza, were hit by an airstrike on Wednesday, May 19, as the Israeli military said it was continuing to attack “Hamas targets” in the area.

The Israeli Air Force said “underground targets, command and control targets and Hamas outposts” were being targeted.

The death toll from airstrikes on Gaza rose to at least 227 on May 19, 64 of whom were children, the Gaza Ministry of Health said.
