Buildings in Downtown Washington Boarded Up Amid Concerns of Election Unrest

Storefronts and office buildings were seen boarded up in Washington on Sunday, November 1, two days before the presidential election.

Washington Metro Police Chief Peter Newsham said in October the force was preparing for possible unrest around the election.
