BTS partners with South Korean beauty company to release limited edition set (Video)
KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 10 — Global boyband sensation BTS has yet again collaborated with Amorepacific.
The South Korean skincare and beauty giant recently announced a second partnership with the 21st century pop icons.
The result is a limited-edition three-piece BTS/Amorepacific Lip Sleeping Mask Lip & Pop Edition Set.
This collaboration follows the release of a successful BTS-themed limited edition release last year.
Once again featuring the iconic Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask formula, this new set comes with three flavours, including a never-seen-before "Butter" flavour and the return of fan-favourite Peach Iced Tea.
Lip Sleeping Mask is Laneige's global best-seller, keeping lips hydrated overnight for a smoother, plumper look.
The theme for this collaboration is Love Your Lips, Feels Like POP!, which takes its inspiration from several of BTS' record-breaking hits including Butter, Permission to Dance and Dynamite.
The packaging features an image of a turntable, and the Lip Sleeping Mask jars are a nod to artwork from BTS album jackets, making them coveted collectibles.
The set includes three scents inspired by BTS' most popular songs: "Butter" - a new flavour that smells like buttered popcorn and inspired by their namesake hit record; Peach Iced Tea - a back-from-the-vault flavour inspired by Permission to Dance; and the best-selling Sweet Candy to represent Dynamite.
