Brooklyn Beckham Reveals to Andy Cohen What This Senior Royal Is Really Like
"He's just like the sweetest guy ever. He really is. He's really down to earth," Brooklyn said about the British royal
As the son of David and Victoria Beckham, Brooklyn Beckham is practically British royalty himself — and he has some insights into the royal family, too!
On Nov. 4, Brooklyn appeared on Watch What Happens Live!, where host Andy Cohen relayed a viewer question about his connections to the royals.
"Growing up, which members of the royal family did you see the most often, especially since your family is friends with Harry and Meghan?" Cohen asked on behalf of a fan he identified as Jennifer B, referring to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
"Probably William," Brooklyn, 25, replied, appearing on the show alongside Zachary Quinto.
"What's he like? Is there something about him that people don't get? Is he fun?" Cohen asked his guest about the Prince of Wales and heir to the throne.

The Cloud 23 hot sauce founder and CEO and passionate chef is the eldest child of former soccer star David and fashion designer Victoria, who have known the British royals for years. David, 49, and Victoria, 50, were guests at the royal weddings of Prince William and Kate Middleton in 2011, as well as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in 2018. (William and Kate were reportedly invited to Brooklyn’s 2022 wedding to Nicola Peltz in Florida but did not attend, and Harry and Meghan were also absent from the event.)
David and Victoria both previously met Queen Elizabeth in light of their respective professions — David for his accomplishments in soccer, and Victoria with her Spice Girls band.
David received his OBE from the Queen for services to soccer in 2003, and Victoria became an OBE in 2017 for her work in fashion and charity, receiving her medal from Prince William.
When Queen Elizabeth died in September 2022 at age 96, he was among the thousands of Brits who stood in line for hours to pay respects to the late monarch her coffin was laid in state at Westminster Hall.
The Beckhams are known to spend time between the U.K. and Miami, Florida, where David co-owns the Inter Miami CF soccer team. That role takes the couple to the U.S., where Prince Harry, 40, and Meghan, 43, relocated in the 2020 after stepping back from their royal roles in the U.K. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex settled in her home state of California, where they continue to live with their children, Prince Archie, 5, and Princess Lilibet, 3.
In another link to the Beckhams, Meghan and Princess Kate have also both previously worn items from Victoria's namesake Victoria Beckham brand.
Over the summer, it was announced that David was taking on a new royal role with King Charles' charity, The King's Foundation, and would be supporting the organization as an ambassador. The sovereign established the charity in 1990 to create improved communities where people, places and the planet can coexist.

The June 1 update came with the news that the former England soccer captain had visited King Charles, 75, at his Highgrove Gardens in Gloucestershire to learn more about the foundation and see some of the charity’s educational programs in action there. The timing reportedly coincided with Prince Harry's trip to the U.K. in May for the tenth anniversary of the Invictus Games.
Later that month, David reconvened with the King at St. James' Palace in London for The King's Foundation's annual awards. There, fellow King's Foundation ambassador Rod Stewart hilariously quipped on stage, "I'm wonderfully honored to be a Knight, and David, yours is coming soon," referring to the next level of honorary titles bestowed by the royals.
