Broadway star Lindsay Mendez is married!
The actress, who announced in March that she was expecting her second baby, tied the knot with fellow actor husband, J. Alex Brinson on April 22 in New York City, the couple confirms to PEOPLE.
"It was a dream come true," says Mendez of the nuptials. "Absolutely magical. J. is a magnet of love. A resilient, passionate, leader whom I’m excited to build a beautiful life with."
Mendez’s Merrily We Roll Along costars Daniel Radcliffe, 34, and Jonathan Groff, 39, also played active roles at the ceremony with Radcliffe being the ring bearer while Groff was the officiant.
The pair exchanged vows in front of 40 guests at Bethesda Terrace, which overlooks the southern shore of the Lake in Central Park, followed by cocktails and a private dinner at the Lambs Club.
Mendez was dressed in a white lace gown with sleeves that hung off her shoulders, while Brinson matched his bride in a white jacket over a white shirt, bow-tie and black pants. "It felt romantic and fit in our classic New York theme," Mendez tells PEOPLE of the gown.
Mendez’s 2-year-old daughter Lucy also played a part in the ceremony as she threw confetti in the air while the bride and groom beamed from ear to ear.

In March, Mendez shared a photo of three pairs of matching shoes and one tiny pair of knit booties to announce that she and Brinson were expecting their first baby together.
“Our family band is expanding! And we are bursting with joy! J and I can’t wait to make Lucy a big sister and welcome our new baby this fall," she wrote at the time.
For the couple, getting married means having a "loving friendship and support for a lifetime," they shared with PEOPLE, adding that they are looking forward to "raising a beautiful family with joy, laughter, and love."
The couple first met while working together on the CBS legal drama All Rise. Brinson popped the question at Nobu Cabo on the beach September 2022.
"Lindsay is a warrior princess," says Brinson. "She loves fearlessly and doesn’t let the past determine her future. She is so kind, loving, and funny."
