KUALA LUMPUR, June 3 — Local event organiser Hello Universe has heard the will of the Malaysian people and has decided to change the upcoming British rock band Muse’s concert venue to Bukit Jalil National Stadium.

The two-time Grammy award-winning band will be coming to Malaysia as their only stop in Asia on July 29 in conjunction with their Will of the People global tour.

Previously it was announced that the concert will be taking place at the Bukit Kiara Equestrian Resort. The announcement, however, didn’t sit well with local fans as many had requested for a change of venue on social media.

For existing ticket holders, an updated ticket with the new venue information will be sent via e-mail to their registered account and they will be able to use the new ticket to gain entry.

Seating arrangements for some zones will be adjusted to accommodate the new venue while seatings for Zone A, Zone B and Zone C will remain the same, according to a press release by Hello Universe.

The organiser added that Bukit Jalil National Stadium’s state-of-the-art facilities and seating capacity will serve as the perfect backdrop for the upcoming concert.

Known for their chart-topping hits such as Supermassive Black Hole, Time is Running Out and Plug-in Baby, Muse is also known for their high energy stage presence and visually stunning production.

Tickets are available for purchase from June 2 via http://www.ticket2u.com.my.
