BritBox confirms Peep Show and more Channel 4 content coming to the streaming service in April
BritBox is finally bringing the first wave of Channel 4 content to its streaming library next month.
The streaming service, which is a joint venture between BBC and ITV, penned a partnership deal with Channel 4 last year, which will ultimately sees thousands of hours of material arriving ad-free over the next three years for subscribers to devour.
And on Monday (March 30), BritBox confirmed the first load of Channel 4 content that will be available on the service in April, promising hundreds of hours of comedy, drama and non-scripted programming.
Considering we're all in self-isolation for the foreseeable future, this is excellent news.

So what classic Channel 4 programmes will we be able to enjoy?
Well, who better to start with than everyone's favourite odd couple Mark Corrigan and Jeremy Usborne? Peep Show series 1-9 is a surefire way to get your sense of humour tingling.
While we're on the subject of comedy, BritBox subscribers will also be able to enjoy the complete series boxsets of The Inbetweeners and Father Ted, as well as Edgar Wright's cult classic Spaced, Black Books, a Matt Berry double whammy in Toast of London and Year of the Rabbit, plus the recently-returned Friday Night Dinner.
But if you, like any self-respecting TV junkie, enjoy the heart-rending side of life, then look no further than Shane Meadows and Stephen Graham's latest collaboration The Virtues.
Broadcast last year, this four-part drama is an immaculate portrayal of a bruised psyche and boasts one of Graham's most layered performances yet.
