Bridgerton fans have been hoping for some news that season two is coming. While Netflix recently announced that the show has already had some record breaking numbers since its premiere, no official renewal has been revealed. However, it seems like fans might have found a big clue that it might be actually happening.
Reddit user sailormars1776 posted a photo of a casting call from the same casting director, KVH Casting, who did the first season. They are currently looking for two female characters, one of Indian descent playing age 21-28 and another of mixed Caucasian / Indian descent playing 20 - 26.
While it doesn't say what TV show it is for, the cast call also notes that filming will star in the end of February, which is currently around the rumored time that season two is set to start filming.

Several other reddit users have pointed out that casting call matches Kate and Edwina, two characters that are introduced in the second book of the series and would come in for Anthony's journey as he tries to find a wife. According to the second book's description:
"Anthony Bridgerton hasn't just decided to marry — he's even chosen a wife! The only obstacle is his intended's older sister, Kate Sheffield — the most meddlesome woman ever to grace a London ballroom. The spirited schemer is driving Anthony mad with her determination to stop the betrothal, but when he closes his eyes at night, Kate's the woman haunting his increasingly erotic dreams...
Contrary to popular belief, Kate is quite sure that reformed rakes do not make the best husbands — and Anthony Bridgerton is the most wicked rogue of them all. Kate's determined to protect her sister — but she fears her own heart is vulnerable. And when Anthony's lips touch hers, she's suddenly afraid she might not be able to resist the reprehensible rake herself..."
With so much up in the air with this series, here's hoping this is the sign we needed for a season two.
