Bride Blows Dust Off Vows as 15-Year Relationship Finally Leads to Wedding
Footage from a wedding in Travelers Rest, South Carolina, went viral after the bride – who was in a relationship with the groom for almost 15 years – blew dust off her vows, video uploaded on October 30 shows.
Footage from the ceremony, which was recorded by Ten Oh Eight Films, shows the bride, Christie Jefferies, blowing a puff of dust off her wedding vows, which brings a surprised smile to her partner, Byron, and causes the crowd to erupt in laughter.
The longtime couple shared a statement to Storyful about the experience, saying “laughter is key” to their relationship.
“This dust symbolized all of the love they had given each other until this point but also represented a new beginning for them as husband and wife,” the statement said.
