KN95 masks are made in China and certified by the Chinese government. Here in the U.S., we don’t manufacture KN95 masks, but we have American-made masks that are very similar. If buying products that are made in the U.S.A. is important to you, check out the Breatheze mask, which is selling fast at Amazon.

Like the KN95, the Breatheze is multilayered and designed for an excellent fit. If your mask inventory is running low, now is a great time to stock up — especially with the highly contagious Omicron variant, named a variant of concern by the World Health Organization. You can get a box of 50 (five packs of 10) for $28.

If you have Amazon Prime, you’ll get free shipping, of course. Not yet a member? No problem. You can sign up for your free 30-day trial here. (And by the way, those without Prime still get free shipping on orders of $25 or more.)

The four-layer masks are made of polypropylene to filter out 95 percent of airborne particles. They're also tested by a third-party lab to make sure you're getting a quality mask.

Like KN95 masks, the Breatheze masks have elastic ear loops and a metal nose bridge to help you get that just-right fit. The masks are specifically created for all-day wear, so you can use them for work, school or wherever your day takes you.

Another nice perk of these masks: They easily fold flat, so you can stash them in your bag or pocket without any bulk.

These masks have plenty of loyal fans who swear they offer great protection with a comfortable feel. "I bought these because I wanted something a step up in protection from those thin, 3-ply disposable masks, but didn't want to spend so much for N95/KN95 masks. I also wanted something made in the USA," one five-star reviewer says. "We just need them primarily for things like going shopping or out to eat. Despite masks only being required in a few of the places we go, I figure that with variants out there, and often being around elderly folks who are wearing masks, or young kids, wearing a mask is still a good idea. I wish I'd gotten these before. They fit better than the 3-ply 'surgical' type masks we've gotten before, and they're more comfortable than any of the fabric masks with filter pockets. I especially like the wider nose wire; it really helps the fit."

Another gave Breatheze masks a thumbs up for breathability. "This is a new style of face mask for me and I really like them. I have to wear a mask, not just for Covid, but because I have a suppressed immune system due to an auto immune disease that I have. I have to wear a mask when I go out, even for walks. These 4-ply masks are lightweight and fit snugly around the face. They are much easier to breathe through than some others that I have used. I found that they do not fog up my glasses when I am wearing them together and that is a big plus for me."

Just a heads up: Good masks don't stay in stock for long. Grab these while you still can!
