BREAKING: Sources say unidentified body found in search for missing Irish teen

Breaking news this afternoon, as international and local media are reporting that a body has been found on the tenth day of a search for missing Irish teenager Nora Quoirin.

The teen’s parents have reportedly been escorted to the scene of the discovery in an attempt to identify the body, according to local media outlet Malay Mail.

No official statement has been issued by police as of yet, with UK charity Lucie Blackman Trust saying they are still waiting for clarification.

Shamans conducted rituals in the Malaysian jungle on Monday in the latest bid to find a missing Franco-Irish teen, as her family offered a reward for information leading to the girl’s return.

Nora Quoirin, a 15-year-old with learning difficulties, disappeared on Aug. 4, just a day after checking into a resort near a rainforest with her London-based family.

They believe she was abducted, but Malaysian police have to this point classified it as a missing person case.
