Brazilians march for democracy after capital riot

STORY: Paulista Avenue was filled with protesters the riots in the capital, Brasilia, while holding signs with messages such as “democracy forever."

On Sunday, angry mobs rampaged through Congress, the Supreme Court and presidential offices, smashing windows, furniture and artwork in the worst attack on state institutions since Brazil's return to democracy in the 1980s.

Around 1,500 people were rounded up in Brasilia after the attack.
