Brazilians march against 'racist' Bolsonaro

Demonstrators gathered in Sao Paulo's Paulista Avenue to call for black people's rights.

People carried Brazilian flags and signs with the popular slogan 'Bolsonaro out!' and accused the leader of being racist.

Similar demonstrations were held in several Brazilian cities.

According to the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics, the country's black population lags behind in socio-economic indicators such as employment, education, homicide rates, and political representation.
