KUALA LUMPUR, June 22 ― A woman in Brazil made the news after marrying a homemade ragdoll ― and now they have a baby together.

Meirivone Rocha Moraes, 37, said it was love at first sight when her mother first introduced her to Marcelo, The Mirror reported.

To make things more bizarre, Moraes and Marcelo even have a baby together.

Moraes said her mother made her the doll after listening to her complaints about being single and having nobody to dance with.

After being introduced to Marcelo, Moraes had a whirlwind romance and the couple decided to tie the knot with the ceremony attended by some 250 guests.

Moraes said life with Marcelo was wonderful, although she admits her husband can be lazy.

The woman reportedly said it all began as she did not have a partner to dance.

“I would go to these dances but wouldn't always find a partner. Then he entered into my life and it all made sense,” she reportedly said.

Recalling their wedding day, Moraes said it was a wonderful.

“He is a man I always wanted in my life. Married life with him is wonderful.”

“He doesn't fight with me, he doesn't argue and he just understands me. Marcelo is a great and faithful husband. He is such a man and all women envy him.” Following the wedding, the couple spent their honeymoon at Rio de Janeiro.

The pair also welcomed their doll-baby Marcelinho on May 21 which Moraes live-streamed the event before an audience of 200 people.

“It really upsets me when people say this is fake.

“It makes me so angry. I am a woman of character. My father, and my mother taught me to be honest, to be a good person, and not to take advantage of anything.”
