(SOUNDBITE) (Portuguese) VICE PRESIDENT OF FRIENDS OF CHRIST ASSOCIATION, NOBISON ANTENOR GONZATTI, SAYING: “It’s a construction of 43.5 meters high. There are 6 meters of the pedestal and 37.5 meters of the statue. This means that today our statue of Christ the Protector here in Encantado is the largest statue of Christ in the world.”
