Brandon Miller, Real Estate Mogul and Husband of Mama & Tata Influencer Candice Miller, Dead at 43: Reports

Brandon and the lifestyle influencer tied the knot in 2009 and share two children together

Real estate mogul Brandon Miller has reportedly died at age 43.

Brandon, the husband of Mama & Tata influencer and lifestyle blogger Candice Miller, died on Wednesday, July 3, according to online records from the New Montefiore Cemetery in New York. A cause of death was not shared.

When contacted by PEOPLE, the Suffolk County Medical Examiner’s Office said they could not provide any information.

Prior to his death, Miller was in the intensive care unit at Stony Brook Southampton Hospital, according to Real estate magazine The Real Deal.

The New Montefiore Cemetery and Stony Brook Southampton Hospital did not immediately respond when contacted by PEOPLE.

Brandon and Candice met as kids and tied the knot in 2009, per E! News. They share two children together.

Candice runs a lifestyle website with her sister Jenna Crespi, while Brandon served as a managing partner at Real Estate Equities Corporation (REEC), joining the company in 2004 as the head of the acquisitions and finance department, per the website.

"Prior to joining REEC, he was in the commercial real estate group at Dillion Read Capital Management. During this time there, Brandon originated over 1 Billion Dollars of Commercial Real Estate Loans," read a post on the website.

"In his role as Managing Partner at REEC, Brandon has originated a broad array of transactions including value-add, ground up, and repositioning of assets totaling in excess of several billion dollars," according to the website, which also noted he graduated from Brown University.

REEC didn't immediately respond when contacted by PEOPLE.

Brandon is also related to fashion blogger Arielle Charnas, who married Current Real Estate Advisors co-founder Brandon Charnas in 2014.

While speaking to Mini Magazine in 2019, Candice shared her love for her husband and daughters as she spoke about what "a typical day" would look like juggling work and her home life.

"On most days, what I really look forward to is arriving home, and sitting for dinners with my husband and my girls, followed by some very yummy snuggles before bedtime, where we all profess our love for one another over and over again," she said.

Social media accounts for Candice and Mama and Tata are not currently active.
