Brandi GlanvilleBrandi Glanville is “desperately” trying to find answers amid her struggle with facial disfigurement.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alumna appeared on PageSix’s Virtual Reali-Tea podcast and opened up about her health and dealing with a suspected face “parasite.” The 52-year-old said she’s been working with a doctor and restarted her antibiotics after noticing her face was starting to “sink in.”
“I prefer [my face] when it’s a little swollen, to be honest,” she told hosts Evan Real and Danny Murphy. “When it’s only swollen on one side, it’s not great. But the sinking in thing is killing me slowly, because I just feel like I look like a crackhead.”
Glanville admitted that she “so desperately” wants a solution to her health struggles as it’s been two years with the problem. “You could do anything you want to me, and I’d be OK with it,” she said.
“I’ve had days of looking normal, not weeks. I wish. But it comes and goes.” she explained. “Over the weekend, it was only swollen on the right side of my face, so I looked like I had a really big meatball in the right side of my cheek.”

The reality star explained that the swelling is "disgusting" and “so gross” — as if her face is filled with an “oily fluid.”
Glanville told the outlet her health struggle has even taken a toll on her mental health.
“It’s hard to hide out during Christmas when everyone’s having their parties. It’s depressing. It just hurts my brain and my heart,” she admitted. “The pain is more mental than anything, because I have been hiding and going through a deep, deep depression. Even if I could work now, at this point, I couldn’t. So it’s just been a really rough two years for me.”
Glanville said her appearance has even frightened her children a couple of times, and she started wearing a mask around the house to avoid them seeing her “scary” face.
Earlier this month, Glanville posted a photo on X, formerly Twitter, of the facial disfigurement she’s been experiencing, hoping to be transparent with fans.
As 2025 approaches, she told Entertainment Tonight that she’s just hoping to get on the other side of her health struggles next year.
“Honestly, health is wealth and that’s all I want,” she said.
