Boy Has Powerful Reaction When Opening Dream Present on Christmas Day
A nine-year-old boy who was told by his mother that Walmart had run out of PlayStation 5 consoles was overwhelmed on Christmas Day when he opened his present and discovered he had received one.
Rashaun Madrazo of Kansas City, Missouri, told Storyful that Torian, age 9, had been wanting a PlayStation 5 since the console was released in November 2020.
“Every year a PS5 has been on his Christmas list and unfortunately I haven’t had the best of luck getting him one,” she said. “The game system has been sold out in stores and online for the longest time.”
This year, however, she was “super excited for Christmas” after managing to finally secure a console.
In the video, Madrazo can be heard telling a festively dressed Torian that he forgot to open one of his presents. The boy turns around to open the gift, and starts crying when he discovers the PlayStation 5.
Madrazo said that Torian had humbly accepted the fact that he would not be getting the console this year again. “That’s when I knew my son was going to be so happy and surprised. His reaction was priceless,” she said. Credit: Rashaun Madrazo via Storyful
