Bowie Cheung denies new property means upcoming wedding

13 May – Bowie Cheung has recently dismissed the idea that she and Benjamin Yuen are tying the knot soon based on their decision to acquire a new property together.

As reported on Mingpao, rumours of an upcoming wedding sparked recently after the couple was revealed to have jointly bought a luxury property in the Mount Pavilia estates in Clear Water Bay, which cost a hefty HKD 66 million.

When asked if it was going to be their new home after their marriage, Bowie, who spoke to the media at a taping of a TVB programme, stated that their investment and personal relationship are two different things.

"I will share with you when there's any good news. At this moment, work is our priority," she said.

Bowie also stated that she and Benjamin have yet to discuss whether the property will be used personally or to be rented out.

On the other hand, when mentioned that TVB actress Crystal Fung broke up with boyfriend Martin after buying a home together, Bowie said that it was not a normal occurrence.
