Boulder Firefighters Rescue Cat Stuck in Tree
Firefighters in Boulder, Colorado, rescued a cat that had gotten stuck in a tree at a local park, footage released on Monday, September 18, shows.
The leashed cat, named Hawthorne, jumped into a tree while its owner was picking up trash in the park, Boulder Fire-Rescue said. When it tried to come down, its leash got tangled in the tree, they said. Working with the Boulder Police Animal Protection unit, firefighters said they used a ladder to rescue the cat.
