You can buy £60 worth of beauty favourites for a mere £10 at Boots. Yes, you read that right.
Last year, customers could pick up the Beauty Heroes Box for free when they spent £20 or more on select make-up and it flew off the shelves.
Luckily, the brand has a few boxes left and they're now available to add to your basket for just £10, while stock lasts.
Word of warning though: we're sure it will sell out at the speed of light, so limber up those fingers –you'll need to add to basket fast.
We get that you might be cynical because so many gifts-with-purchase can be a disappointment. But the Boots Our Beauty Heroes box is different. The carefully curated selection of must-have beauty products is genuinely top quality, and you get them in full sizes.
While all the products are amazing, the standout item? It's No7 Laboratories Firming Booster Serum, £34.95 – women claim it's given them the best results they've ever seen from a skincare product.
And after using it for five days myself, I can vouch for that. Frankly, I was surprised every time I looked in the mirror and saw such a radiant face looking back at me, even after a late night out drinking cocktails.
Now that's what I call miraculous. As do many of its loyal fans, of which I am now one...
What's inside Boots Beauty Box
No7 Labatories Firming Booster Serum | £34.95
Amongst the creme-de-la-creme of skincare brands, it's no wonder this is the stand-out product of the Boots 'Our Heroes' beauty box. With benefits including clinically-proven firmer-looking skin it contains Matrixyl 3000+ ™: No7’s powerful anti-wrinkle peptide technology created to restore a more youthful appearance to your skin, alongside Hibiscus which is rich in amino acids to boost collagen production, and Hyaluronic Acid which boosts moisture and plumps skin.
It has many devoted fans (I'm now a convert, too), including one who thinks it's miraculous. "This product works miracles!!! No kidding!!! The difference in my neck, laugh lines & forehead are night and day! My neck was getting so many wrinkles and now I only have one little one left."
(Use it before your normal serum and moisturiser every morning and evening – massage a peppercorn-sized drop around jawline using upwards and outwards motions. Repeat around sides of mouth and neck. Massage any remaining product into your skin with your fingers).
L'Oreal Paris Superliner Mat-Matic Eyeliner Ultra Black | £6.99 from Boots
A gel eyeliner in a crayon pen format with intense colour pigment and 24-hour staying power? Yes please! This ticked all of my boxes.
FYI: if you struggle to do winged eyeliner with other products like I do, it's easier with this – it's my new go-to for a flick. And it's far less messy to remove than an ink, especially when you make the amount of mistakes I do.
I used a primer on my lids first, and my flicks didn't budge all day. Winning!
We can see how it has earned its place as a beauty hero with reviewers saying everything from "there is no finer liner!" to raving about its staying power and price point: "This eyeliner is simply the best drugstore makeup product I've ever bought. It's applied very easily, it's the blackest black out there and it doesn't smudge. Also, it's a great value for money. Would definitely recommend this to anyone and I'll be repurchasing it soon."
Maybelline Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser Primer 22ml | £7.99 from Boots
Pore-blurring magic, this gives you a flawless canvas on which to apply makeup.
I've never been a primer fan – I don't see the point – so nobody was more surprised than me when, after dabbing a pea-sized amount on my face after my serum, moisturiser and sunscreen – my skin looked filtered.
So much so, that I didn't need any foundation, just a few dabs of concealer under my eyes, and a little on my nose. This is now going to be a – very unexpected – everyday staple for me.
The texture is unlike other primers I've used – it is like a clear gel, and when you apply it to your skin, it feels instantly velvety.
And loads of shoppers adore its effect on the skin, too.
"Literally makes your skin silky smooth, can't believe I've only just come across it!" raves one, while another loves its superb pore-banishing effects: "This primer is amazing for my skin, I have large pores and after using this, you would’ve never thought I did. Very blurring and can’t wait to get paid so I can buy some more."
You'll get one of these brilliant mascaras – the Rimmel London Extra Super Lash Lengthening Mascara is a no-clump product, allowing you to build up to the look you want.
It's so good one customer swears by it after years of looking: "I have tried sooo many mascaras over the years to find one which lengthens my stumpy lashes without clumping, to no avail. This mascara is fab. It lengthens my lashes, makes them noticeably better, does not clump, and washes off without needing special products. I'm a convert 100%."
Whereas the Rimmel London Extra 3D Lash Mascara is for those who want a little more drama – it volumises and lengthens even the smallest lashes. And shoppers reckon it beats more expensive brands: "discovered this mascara last year in 2021. Have spent so much money on luxury / expensive brand mascaras. But this absolutely beats all of them. It is perfect for separating the lashes. Doesn’t dry up and the brush is perfect for natural tidy long lashes. I just love it."
Full disclosure: I haven't tried the mascara as I'm all about full-on, fluttery lashes that look like I'm wearing falsies. Hence nothing will part me from my Maybelline Lash Sensational Sky High Mascara £11.49.
Whichever one lands in your beauty box is a serious win either way (NB: we can't confirm which colour you'll get). The Sleek MakeUP Lip Shot Full Coverage Lip Gloss is super pigmented and long-lasting and, crucially, non-sticky.
I got this in my box – and although the colour wasn't right for me (a pale orange which would suit a much darker skin-tone), I've had one of these Sleek Lip Shots before and loved it due to its great pigment payoff (unusual for a gloss) that doesn't dry your lips out.
I'm not the only one: "I bought this a week ago and I’m shocked! The formula of these are incredible, definitely not sticky!! I’m in love, never had lip gloss like these!" says one fan.
Whereas the Sleek MakeUP Matte Me Ultra Matte Lipstick is the dream matte lip product with serious pigment and staying power. Hence this customer buying them again and again in all the colours: "I love these Sleek matte lipsticks!!! I have nearly all of the shades and once they have run out I have brought them all again. The colour lasts and looks beautiful on. I have had many compliments about the colours. The price is amazing and definitely worth more!"
Whetted your appetite? Don't forget, the Boots Our Beauty Heroes box is such brilliant value that stocks won't last for long, so make sure you don't miss out!
