Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan gives fans first glimpse of his hot new look in upcoming movie ‘Fighter’, fans compare it to ‘Top Gun’
KUALA LUMPUR, June 27 --- Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan gave fans a delectable first taste of his upcoming movie Fighter by posting a never-seen-before photo on social media.
The photo, a still from the movie, shows Roshan from the back, his fighter pilot uniform outlined to perfection as he rests his hand on his beloved jet.
The 49-year-old actor didn’t caption the post but added the hashtags Fighter, 25 Jan 2024 and 7 months to Fighter.
Already, fans are abuzz over the photo, which was posted yesterday and has garnered 1.3 million likes to date.
“Can I get tickets to the first show?” asked an Instagram user.
“Can’t wait,” said another.
Thousands of other fans echoed the same sentiment but there were also those who pointed out the movie’s similarities to Hollywood’s Top Gun.
“Top Gun’s Maverick, Indian version,” was one such comment.
“Top Gun copy, typical Bollywood behaviour,” was another.
To prepare for the movie, Roshan underwent simulator training for 12 weeks and got into superb shape by developing his abdominal muscles and losing weight.
Directed by Siddharth Anand, Fighter which also stars Deepika Padukone and Anil Kapoor, will hit theatres in January 2024.
