Blue Ivy Carter Returned to the Super Bowl in 2024 With Her Sister Rumi and Dad Jay-Z
A rare Rumi Carter sighting.
Blue Ivy has experienced more at a young age than most people do in a lifetime. Earlier this month, she attended the 66th Annual Grammy Awards with her parents, Jay-Z and Beyoncé. She even accompanied her dad on stage when he accepted the Dr. Dre Global Impact Award. The "Empire State of Mind" rapper even referenced the tween in his acceptance speech, saying, "I used to say it was a sippy cup for Blue, but Blue's grown up now she doesn't take sippy cups."
This week, she's hitting Super Bowl LVIII in Las Vegas at Allegiant Stadium to watch the Kansas City Chiefs take on the San Francisco 49ers. Photographed on the field with her dad, Jay-Z, and her little sister, Rumi Carter, the 12-year-old looked thrilled to be there, wearing a varsity jacket and cargo jeans. She even re-created the viral photo of her jumping in front of the football goalposts from Super Bowl LIV in 2020 in Miami.
Besides multiple Grammy appearances and in-person Super Bowl viewings, Blue has collaborated with her mom on music (and fashion — the two have a history of wearing matching looks). She even won her own Grammy as a kid, thanks to an appearance on Beyoncé's "Brown Skin Girl" track, which won the Best Music Video award. Last summer, she also joined the sold-out Renaissance Tour, joining her mother to perform "My Power" and "Black Parade" as a backup dancer.
