Blinken visits Berlin's Holocaust memorial

Blinken said he hoped the U.S. and Germany's Launch Of Dialogue On Holocaust would help ensure current and future generations to learn about and from the Holocaust.

"Together, we honor those who were killed. They were not indistinct numbers even if the number is seared in the minds of many of us," he added.

Blinken and Maas also met 99-year-old Holocaust Survivor Margot Friedlander, who returned to Berlin from the U.S. in 2010.
