Blaze Burning Near Athens 'Mostly Under Control,' Fire Service Says
The Hellenic Fire Service said the fire burning in Penteli, a village near Athens, Greece, on Tuesday, July 19, was “mostly under control” as of Wednesday, July 20.
Three firefighters were injured battling the fire in Penteli, according to the fire service. The fire service also said 30 people had been transported to a hospital, including three people who suffered from burns.
