A cold front brought some unseasonal snow to Australia’s ski fields in Victoria on November 14, as a “blast of winter” caused record low temperatures in parts of the state.
“A blast of winter is on the way with showers, hail, thunder, and strong winds. We will even see snow down to 200m Tas, 1000m Vic, and 1200m NSW late Sunday early Monday,” the Bureau of Meteorology said in a Twitter post.
Parts of the state experienced their coldest November day since 2007, according to the national weather bureau.
