Blake Lively is focusing on her family as the holidays approach.

After news of her filing against Justin Baldoni, 40, went public this past weekend, Lively, 37, is taking time to be with her family, a source tells PEOPLE exclusively.

"She's trying to just focus on making Christmas special for her kids," the source says of the actress, who shares her four kids — daughters James, Inez and Betty, as well as son Olin — with husband Ryan Reynolds.

In her complaint, Lively alleges that Baldoni, who directed and starred alongside the actress in their film It Ends with Us, sexually harassed her during the production of the movie, with alleged misconduct including showing her explicit images and videos, asking her about her personal sex life and attempting to add additional intimacy scenes to the film that she had not originally agreed to, PEOPLE previously reported. She also names lead producer Jamey Heath as participating in misconduct in the complaint (PEOPLE has reached out to Heath for comment.)

The filing states that Lively, who was joined by her husband Reynolds, met with producers of the movie to request that Baldoni change his behavior.

Some of the protections Lively sought were “no more improvising of kissing” and “no more personal, physical touching of, or sexual comments by, Mr Baldoni or Mr, Heath to be tolerated by [Blake Lively] and/or any of her employees, as well as any female cast or crew without their express consent," according to the complaint.

Although Lively said Baldoni agreed to the protections, the complaint alleges that the actor then hired crisis publicists to begin a retaliatory smear campaign against her on social media and in the press.

Bryan Freedman, Baldoni's lawyer, called Lively's allegations "false, outrageous and intentionally salacious with an intent to publicly hurt" in a statement. He also said her complaint was lodged to "fix her negative reputation."

Lively says in her complaint, which is a precursor to filing a discrimination lawsuit in California, that "she has suffered from grief, fear, trauma and extreme anxiety" because of Baldoni’s behavior.

The complaint adds that "the emotional impact on Ms. Lively has been extreme, not only affecting her, but her family, including her husband and four children."
