Blake Lively is celebrating her birthday with husband Ryan Reynolds as they spend a relaxing weekend together in Rhode Island.

On Saturday, Aug. 24, one day before the It Ends with Us actress' 37th birthday, the pair were spotted kissing during their weekend getaway.

Lively and Reynolds, 47, were photographed sharing the intimate moment, with the Deadpool & Wolverine actor sporting dark sunglasses, a baseball hat and a button-down shirt. Lively kept her look casual, wearing an orange halter top and styling her hair in a bun.

The glimpse of the pair's Rhode Island trip came as pictures surfaced online showing their close friends Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce also hanging out together in the state.

TMZ obtained photos of the singer and the NFL star, both 34, spending some quality time together in Rhode Island as they took a break from work — in his case, the Kansas City Chiefs' preseason games and in hers, the European leg of the Eras Tour.

Swift and Lively have been longtime friends, and were first spotted hanging out together nearly 10 years ago. The "Karma" singer even brought Lively with her as she cheered on Kelce at the 2024 Super Bowl in February.

Lively and Reynolds, meanwhile, are coming off of a busy few weeks. Earlier this month, amid the simultaneous releases of It End with Us and Deadpool & Wolverine, Variety reported that this was the first time in more than 30 years that a married couple had their respective films top the box office at the same time. (The last time a couple shared box office success was in 1990, when Bruce Willis starred in Die Hard 2 and Demi Moore starred in Ghost.)

It Ends with Us grossed more than $50 million domestically during its opening weekend, and Deadpool & Wolverine pulled in $54.2 million.

During an interview with Willie Geist on Sunday Today, Reynolds joked that their movies' competition at the box office this past month was "the only time in my life I've ever dreamt of coming in second."

"No, I think that's the sign of a good relationship," he joked, before delving into his relationship with Lively. "It's always been the one kind of constant with Blake and I: We really root for each other."

Lively even revealed to E! News at the New York City premiere of It End with Us on Aug. 6 that Reynolds wrote the movie's "iconic rooftop scene."

She added of her husband at the time: "We help each other. He works on everything I do; I work on everything he does. So his wins, his celebrations are mine and mine are his."

However, the couple's box-office successes come amid reports of friction between It Ends with Us director and star Justin Baldoni and the rest of the movie's primary cast, including Lively. The Hollywood Reporter previously reported that were creative clashes behind the scenes, which allegedly led to Baldoni, 40, and Lively commissioning two different cuts of the film.
