Black Lives Matter Sign Painted on Lark Street in Albany

‘Black Lives Matter’ was painted in large yellow lettering on Lark Street in Albany, New York, on Tuesday, June 9. Albany is one of many major US cities painting the words on a street, following the example of Washington, DC.

The city of Albany worked with the social services organization In Our Own Voices to make it happen, local station WNYT reported.
