Blac Chyna Opens Up About 'Custody Battle' with Tyga for Son King: 'Can't Wait Until It's Over'

Blac Chyna is opening up about the recent custody situation involving her and rapper Tyga's son.
While speaking with Nick Viall and Natalie Joy on their podcast The Viall Files, Chyna, born Angela White, 35, discussed co-parenting with ex Tyga, 33, and commented on her recent filing for custody of their son King Cairo, 10.
"What was it like co-parenting with Tyga at the time? Breakups are hard enough, but when you have a kid you have to almost set aside, sometimes your own personal feelings for the sake of your child. You made it work. What was that like? Do you feel like you stepped up? What was that like?" Viall asked.

"For the first four years of Kingy's life I had him Monday through Friday, right?" Chyna said. "And then that's when I had became pregnant with Dream. And it was like the school and this and pregnant and a new relationship ... it was like a lot for me. So then that's when our schedules had changed."
"So then I had King Friday, Saturday, Sunday and then drop him off to school Monday. So it was like the same amount of days but we just had to just kind of switch because of the schooling. I was like I'm just going to be realistic with myself, and this was the best schedule for me," she continued.
"But other than that, it was all good until recently this year. And then it dawned on me what had even happened. Him like keeping King longer right after I did the case with the Kardashians. You get what I'm saying? So that's when he had kind of snuck that in there," claimed Cyna.
"So for anyone that doesn't know, what did he sneak in?" Viall asked.
"Like trying to keep King, my son!" Chyna alleged.
"Longer than he should . . . than you originally agreed," Joy said. "Exactly," Chyna responded.
"You felt like he was kind of maneuvering and making moves that at the time almost felt like, maybe he's just enjoying his child. But you feel like there was ulterior motives," Viall asked.
"Yeah, I just want to lay it all out on the table because that's just what I'm going through," Chyna said.
"Where are things now with that?" Viall asked.
"We're in a custody battle right now. Yep, yep. Can't wait until it's over with," Chyna said.
"That's gotta be hard," Joy told her.
"Yeah, and it's hard for me because I'm like, 'You know I'm not doing OnlyFans, I'm not doing this, I'm not doing that, dude, so like you have, obviously like more money than me,' " she claimed of Tyga.
"Why can't we just settle this stuff outside of court? Like talking to you. He didn't want to do that so now I have to go to court . . . And I feel like me and him together, we just both don't need this," Chyna continued.
A rep for Tyga did not immediately respond to PEOPLE's request for comment on Chyna's claims.
In addition to son King, the model is mom to daughter Dream, 6, whom she shares with ex Rob Kardashian.
In documents obtained by PEOPLE in July, Chyna filed for a petition to determine a parental relationship in regards to son King, with Tyga, born Michael Stevenson, as the respondent.
Once the parental relationship — which Chyna is not contesting — is established, Chyna is asking to establish joint physical and legal custody of King, as is believed to be in the best interest of the child.
Responding to a post by The Shade Room about the filing, Tyga wrote, "10 years later ... nah ... stick to ur schedule sat-mon."
She later filed new documents in October, laying significant allegations against Tyga when it comes to issues in their co-parenting relationship.
The paperwork reiterates Chyna's request for 50/50 physical and legal custody of King, as well as for Tyga to handle legal fees related to the matter. After explaining the former couple's backstory and noting they previously began the process of creating a formal custody order in 2014 — with them later "informally agreeing" to work things out outside of the legal system and the matter ultimately being dismissed in 2019 — Chyna claimed this isn't the first time she's felt that Tyga has "tried to interfere" with her relationship with King.
Chyna also alleged that Tyga hasn't shared crucial information with her, from King's eyeglass prescription to her speculation that he changed King's school without informing her.
