Birmingham Airport 'Open and Operational' After Temporary Closure to Clear Snow
Birmingham Airport’s runway was temporarily closed to allow for snow-clearing work on Friday, March 10, the airport said.
Footage shared by the airport shows snow-clearing and de-icing efforts on site.
The airport tweeted at around 7:30 am local time that the runway would be closed for one hour to allow crews to clear the snow.
The airport said the runway was “open and operational” at 11 am.
