Billy Ray Cyrus Taking Daughter Noah's Advice and Planning to 'Stand Still' amid Firerose Divorce: 'So Proud'

Billy Ray Cyrus is thankful for his youngest daughter Noah.

On Wednesday, June 26, Billy Ray, 62, gave a special shoutout to Noah, 24, while sharing a throwback photo of the pair on Instagram.

The "Achy Breaky Heart" singer posted some lyrics from the father-daughter duo's 2022 song "Noah (Stand Still)" in a second slide, while referencing the track again in the caption.

"I’m so proud of this little girl. Noah has grown into an incredible young Lady," Billy Ray captioned the post.

"Sometimes you gotta take your daughter’s advice and just 'Stand Still,'" the country crooner added.

"Love my daddy so much," Noah responded in the comments section.

Lyrics shared by Billy Ray included, "As you get older, it gets harder to change / You might find yourself alonе with just your shame / But it's not over / It's all gonna be OK / And whеn times are tough remember what I say."

"My grandfather told my father, 'It don't get easier, just harder' / Yes, it will, remember just stand still," the written lyrics added.

As previously reported by PEOPLE, Billy Ray is currently going through a divorce with his estranged wife Firerose, 37, less than a year after the couple tied the knot.

Billy Ray — who married Firerose, real name Johanna Rose Hodges, on Oct. 10, 2023 — filed for divorce on May 23, according to court documents obtained by PEOPLE.

The court documents cited irreconcilable differences and inappropriate marital conduct as the reason for divorce, with Billy Ray also seeking an annulment on the grounds of fraud.

Earlier this week, things took a turn again as Billy Ray claimed he'd been "physically," verbally and emotionally abused by Firerose in court documents filed in Tennessee from Monday, June 24.

In the documents obtained by PEOPLE, the musician also denied the "mind boggling" allegations that he was abusive toward his estranged wife.

Noah Cyrus has been by her dad's side through his current divorce, and his 2022 divorce from her mom and his ex-wife of 28 years, Tish Cyrus, 57.

In February, a source told PEOPLE, “Noah is very loyal to Billy Ray. She and Billy Ray have always had a really close relationship.”

Despite her rumored estrangement from Tish, Noah made sure to wish her mom a happy birthday on May 13, sharing a throwback photo on her Instagram Stories.

"happy birthday mom," she simply captioned the photo, which showed a young Noah holding onto her mom's arm as she carried a birthday cake.

Rumors have been surrounding the Cyrus family and their apparent strained relationships for months now. Following her split from Billy Ray, Tish married actor Dominic Purcell, 54, in August 2023.

However, in March, a source told PEOPLE that Noah "was offended" by her mom's marriage to the Prison Break star after he and the "July" singer previously hooked up.

"Noah and Dominic were seeing each other in a friends with benefits way, off and on. They stopped seeing each other and then Tish started something up," the source said at the time, adding that "Tish knew he had been seeing Noah."

"Tish never gave Noah the chance to talk about all of this before they got married," the insider added.
