27 Mar – Sure, large gatherings such as concerts are banned at the moment to curb the spread of the deadly COVID-19, but these singers have found a way to get around that.

This weekend, Elton John is hosting an hour-long, commercial-free "living room concert".

Joining the musical legend will be Billie Eilish, Backstreet Boys, Alicia Keys, Billie Joe Armstrong, Mariah Carey and Tim McGraw.

Each of the acts will be performing from their own homes, "filmed with their personal cell phones, camera and audio equipment," according to Fox, as quoted by CNN.

The concert is a collaboration between Fox and iHeartRadio, as the latter has had to postpone its annual iHeartRadio Music Awards.

As the concert's name states, "Fox Presents the iHeart Living Room Concert for America" will air on Fox at 9 p.m. ET this 29 March. It will also stream on its digital platforms and be broadcast on iHeartMedia radio stations.

Proceeds raised from the concert will go to Feeding America and First Responders Children's Foundation, as it is meant to not only pay tribute to America's front-line health care workers and first responders amid the pandemic but also seek donations to assist them.
