Bill Gates and Girlfriend Paula Hurd Attend Paris Olympics as His Daughter Jennifer Cheers on Simone Biles

The couple were joined by his daughter Jennifer Gates and her husband Nayel Nassar, who will be competing in Paris for Team Egypt

Bill Gates and girlfriend Paula Hurd attended the women’s gymnastics all-around final at the 2024 Paris Olympics — and were joined by his daughter Jennifer Gates and her husband Nayel Nassar.

On Thursday, Aug. 1, the 68-year-old Microsoft co-founder and Hurd watched along as Simone Biles earned a gold medal and teammate Suni Lee took home the bronze in the highly-anticipated competition.

The couple, who were dressed casully, sat among a star-studded crowd that included Tony Hawk, Kendall Jenner, Stephen Curry, Martha Stewart, and Seth Rogen.

The billionaire's daughter Jennifer, 28, was also in attendance — and was clear about being Team Simone!

Jennifer posted two Instagram Stories from the event, including a short clip of Biles out on the floor, which she paired alongside a crown and a medal emoji.

Another familiar face in the crowd was Jennifer's husband, a professional equestrian who will be competing for Team Egypt as an individual in just a few days time.

This isn't the first Olympics event Bill has been spotted at — he was also seen at the the U.S. men's gymnastics team win bronze on Monday, July 29, which marked their first Olympic medal in 16 years.

Other celebrities spotted at the Paris Olympics thus far include Tom Cruise, Mick Jagger, Lady Gaga, Ariana Grande, Cynthia Erivo, John Legend, Pharrell Williams and Celine Dion.

Gates and Hurd's latest outing comes nearly four months after they made their red carpet debut at the 10th Breakthrough Prize Ceremony at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in April.

They have often been seen together attending sporting events, including the Laver Cup in September 2022 and the Australian Open in January 2023.

News of their romance came in Feb. 2023, nearly two years after Gates and ex-wife Melinda French Gates announced they were divorcing after 27 years of marriage in May 2021.

Along with Jennifer, the exes are also parents to son Rory, 23, and daughter Phoebe, 21. Hurd is a mom to daughters Kathryn and Kelly, whom she shares with her late husband, Mark Hurd.
