You might know them as actors, dancers or reality TV stars, but some of the UK’s celebrities are gaining a whole mew following thanks to their TikTok profiles.

The social media platform has proven to be the perfect place for celebrities to express their creativity in lockdown, and some of them have earned hundreds of thousands - or even millions - of followers.

From an EastEnders actress to a Strictly Come Dancing winner, these are the biggest British celebrities to follow on TikTok...

Maisie Smith

EastEnders star Smith has 1.5 million followers on the app and her TikToks usually mix humour with dancing. She often gets her mum involved too and a result, fans are loving the whole family.

Tom Malone Jr

The Gogglebox star has a hidden talent that’s fully unleashed on his TikTok account: dancing. Tom Jr has some impressive moves and occasionally gets his parents involved. As if that wasn't enough, the clips also often feature some seriously special guests - the family pooches.
