Big Brother US coming back for 23rd season
Big Brother came to an end in the UK in 2018 and currently shows no signs of returning, sadly, but things are very different over in the US.
The long-running reality series is airing the finale of its latest All-Stars season tonight (October 28), and its future beyond that has now been confirmed.
As reported by Deadline, CBS has renewed BB for a 23rd (!) season in the US for next summer, with Julie Chen Moonves returning to host yet again. She has hosted the show since it first began in 2000.

Perhaps ironically, the pandemic has actually led to a sharp increase in the show's viewing figures, especially for the Live Feeds online. Who knew that viewers would want to watch people stuck inside a house to distract themselves from being stuck inside their houses?
The publication quotes CBS' SVP of Alternative Programming, Mitch Graham, as stating: "At Big Brother, we always say 'expect the unexpected,' but 2020 gave us our biggest challenge to date! We could not be prouder of the entire team who delivered a fantastic season under such extreme circumstances.

"It feels fitting for this unprecedented season to conclude with an announcement of the show's return next summer."
The current season of Big Brother kicked off all the way back in the first week of August, and humorously had a load of technical issues plaguing its launch night.
