Biden mocks Trump as he calls him a ‘stable genius’

President Joe Biden took a swipe at Donald Trump at a rally in Madison, Wisconsin today (5 July), as he recounted how the former president explained the 4th of July in Washington five years ago.

“I’m not making this up,” warned Biden, before remembering how Trump claimed America won independence from the British by taking control of airports in 1776.

He jokingly made the sign of the cross as the rally-goers erupted into laughter, saying “and they talk about me misspeaking.”

Mr Biden earned more laughter by following up his story with a quick dose of sarcasm: “it’s true, he is a stable genius, this man.”
