Biden Casts Early Vote Alongside 18-Year-Old Granddaughter
President Joe Biden joined his 18-year-old granddaughter, Natalie Biden, to cast their ballots in the midterm elections on Saturday, October 29, in the president’s hometown of Wilmington, Delaware.
In a video shot by Natalie Biden and posted on Joe Biden’s social media accounts on Wednesday, November 2, the pair encourage people to make a plan to vote early or on Election Day.
“I just turned 18 and I’m going to vote for the first time with my Pop,” says Natalie Biden, standing next to her grandfather.
“And I’m so excited for her,” President Biden says. “It’s the first time. The first vote! God love her.”
After voting, Natalie Biden tells viewers it was “a much easier experience” than she had expected. “I really feel like I made a difference,” she says. “Everyone’s voices matter, no matter what our age is.”
The pair said they celebrated the occasion with “triple-thick black and white milkshakes.”
