Biden arrives in Italy for European trip

After the G20 meetings, Biden travels to Glasgow, Scotland, to attend the U.N. climate change conference COP26.

Biden, hoping to signal U.S. re-engagement with allies after four years of Donald Trump's "America First" policies, is expected to discuss energy prices, the Iranian nuclear program and supply chain issues, U.S. national security adviser Jake Sullivan said earlier this week.

His European trip comes as the Democratic president was dealt a setback after the U.S. House of Representatives abandoned plans for a vote on an infrastructure bill that was a main plank of his agenda.
