Beyoncé has opened up about cherishing her family, while reflecting on the impact the coronavirus pandemic, in a new interview.

Speaking with British Vogue, via Us Weekly, the superstar emotionally revealed, "I truly cherish this time with my family, and my new goal is to slow down and shed stressful things from my life." She continued, "I came into the music industry at 15 years old and grew up with the world watching, and I have put out projects nonstop." As a result, Beyoncé is, understandably, ready for a break.

"I released Lemonade during the Formation world tour, gave birth to twins, performed at Coachella, directed Homecoming, went on another world tour with Jay, then Black Is King, all back-to-back," she explained. "It's been heavy and hectic. I’ve spent a lot of time focusing on building my legacy and representing my culture the best way I know how. Now, I’ve decided to give myself permission to focus on my joy."

Earlier this week, Beyoncé released the long-awaited second Ivy Park x Adidas collection, with the singer starring in the ad campaign herself. Beyoncé's daughter, Blue Ivy, even made a cameo in one of the new Ivy Park promotional video clips.

In the video, while the Destiny's Child icon relaxes in her bubble bath, the camera pans to reveal Blue Ivy peeking in on her mom. Beyoncé explained, "I tried to make sure I got five minutes by myself in the bathtub every day. It was still difficult, and I still heard 'Mommy! Mommy!'"
